Bambino Piccolo

Bambino Piccolo is our nursery. It is a spacious area both inside and out allowing tamariki the opportunity to explore and learn, they have plenty of time and support to explore the environment and discover the world around them.

Babies and toddlers experience an environment where their needs are met and where they are encouraged to join in with activities to support their development.

The children/whānau are appointed a key teacher on enrolment. The key teachers role is to help you settle in to Montessori, bond with your child and to ensure their needs are met as well as recording and planning for your child’s learning. As your child settles in they will also develop relationships with the other teachers in Bambino Piccolo, this is essential for times when your child’s key teacher is not present as they have trusting relationships with others who can take care of their needs.

We are licensed for 12 under 2 year olds and try to maintain a 1:4 ratio to allow meaningful relationships to develop.
