Scoperta

Scoperta is our classroom for children from 3 years to 6 years old. Children transition into Scoperta when they are self reliant independent ie able to get their own lunch box, pack bag, go to the toilet etc.

Children in Scoperta continue to develop practical life skills and sensory skills before moving on to other interests in the math, language or cultural areas of the classroom. Again this class also allows opportunities for children to participate in arts and crafts, music and movement, food preparation and allows the child to develop leadership skills along the way.

The Montessori Method of learning allows the child freedom to explore their interests in the knowledge that the teachers are there to help them and to guide them to try new and challenging activities.

The high level of independence in this class allows a 1:10 ratio as children freely and respectfully go about their day.
