Persistenza

Persistenza is our classroom for children from 2 years old until they are ready to transition to Scoperta. Persistenza is Italian for persistence – an important trait for children.

Children in this class are beginning the basics of practical life skills. These are skills that will help them throughout life and give them a basis for the next step of learning – sorting, transferring, opening and closing, using utensils, dressing themselves, caring for the environment and gardening.

There is also opportunities for children to participate in sensory activities, art and craft, music and movement, food preparation and baking. These children are encouraged to explore and learn about the world around them.

We have up to 3 teachers in this class and try to maintain a 1:7 ratio.
